How My Own Injuries Led Me To Helping Others
I started Holistic Resilience because I know what it feels like when your body stops moving the way you want it to. My own injuries started back in high school sports and only got worse in the Marine Corps where years of heavy gear, long days, and constant strain took a real toll on my spine and joints. Later, working as an iron worker pushed things even further, and I found myself throwing out my back multiple times a year.
Through all of that, the most frustrating part was never getting real answers. I was given stretches, quick fixes, and generic advice that never addressed why my body kept breaking down. I knew there had to be a better way, so I went back to school and studied kinesiology. That is when everything clicked. I learned how the entire body connects, how one old injury can create years of compensation patterns, and how to actually rebuild movement the right way.
What helped me heal is the same approach I use with every person I work with. Holistic Resilience is built on experience, education, and the belief that you deserve someone who looks at your whole body, listens to your story, and helps you move with confidence again.
